Danville Local Schools Elementary

Elementary

Welcome to Danville Elementary school! I am honored to be the principal at Danville Elementary. I feel truly blessed to be the instructional leader of such a great school! As your principal, it is important to me that everyone enjoy coming to school as well as everyone getting their individual needs met. This enables us to meet the challenges of academic excellence in a fun and nurturing environment.

Our school serves students in kindergarten through sixth grade. Our staff is very passionate about education, and expects and encourages the best each and every day. We have a PTO that supports our school in many ways. They sponsor book fairs, fundraising activities, and family events, just to name a few.

Danville Elementary parents are a crucial member of our school family. Several volunteers work with students in classrooms every week. Parent and family involvement are a crucial component of student success. The support and encouragement from home makes a real difference.

This school year we are focusing on:
1) Improving school to home and home to school communication with parents,
2) Becoming a better Team, being a better friend, not mean or rude
3) Increasing expectations of everyone- ourselves, parents, and students
4) Creating after school clubs for students to join

During Friday Jam our students and staff join together in the gym for a celebration session of what has been going on that is good as well as areas of needed improvement. It’s a lot of fun! It’s just one way we focus on being a team as well has showing Danville Pride!

If you have any questions or concerns regarding Danville Elementary, please feel free to contact me. If you have a Facebook page, like Danville Elementary! It’s a great way to stay up with what is happening here at school.
