Last Friday the American History and Government classes took a joint trip to the Ohio Supreme Court in Columbus to tour the building and learn a little more about the court and some of its cases. It was a really great day and enjoyable experience for all

Yesterday, our two high school mock trial teams competed at Ohio State's "Buckeye Brawl" mock trial invitational. Both teams performed superbly and Team Holmes took home the first-place award! It is the fourth time in four invitationals this season that Team Holmes has walked away with the top award, making them the first and only team in Ohio mock trial history to win first place at four invitationals in a single season. Congratulations to the students and coaches on this monumental achievement!
