DANVILLE LOCAL SCHOOLS INTERNATIONAL TRIP 2027 FOR STUDENTS WHO ARE CURRENTLY IN 10TH AND 11TH GRADE

Fall pictures in the 7-12 JH/HS building are tomorrow (8/26). Picture packets were sent home last week.
KCCC students will have pictures taken at KCCC on their scheduled date. Any Danville students not taking classes in the building are welcome to come in between 7:30-9:30 if you want your picture taken for the digital archives.

The 2025 Yearbooks are here!
Please pick them up at your earliest convenience. All of the class of 2025 receives a yearbook that can be picked up in the high school office. There are limited quantities of the yearbook left over. Please reach out to Yearbook Advisor Mr.Straub at 740-599-6116 Ex. 5106 to purchase a 2025 yearbook.

Scrimmages at Danville are FREE admission and we won't offer concessions at these scrimmages.

Students in the 7-12 building may be dropped off on the west side of the building (High Street) where the bus drop off is. Once construction is completed, we will put out a new traffic pattern and drop off location.
The building will open at 7:30 for students to come in and get breakfast.

Join us Friday evening at Tough Street Stadium for our Chicken Dinner + Meet the Team event! (There is no scrimmage happening at this event)
We will serve chicken 5-7pm or until we run out! Donation only for the meal and we will accept cash or check only to Danville Athletic Boosters.

Open House in the 7-12 building is tonight (8/11) from 4-6pm. Please stop in the main hallway on the 2nd floor to pick up your most current schedule, which also includes your locker number. Feel free to bring locker items in with you to get things settled in.
A reminder to parents and students that a new bell schedule is in place for this year and it is attached. First period will begin at 8:00 this year and students will still report to their 9th period class to turn in their cell phones before reporting to 1st period. The cell phone policy remains the same as last year and is located in the student handbook on Final Forms.

Our first true games will be Saturday, August 16th for both JH and HS volleyball.

Join us tonight for our first scrimmage at the NEW TOUGH STREET TURF STADIUM at 6pm.
Please be mindful and throw your away trash at the end of the game tonight. Fans are allowed on the turf after the game, but we ask that you use the end-zone entrance or step entrances from the bleachers. No hopping the railing onto the field.

Get your hearts and minds prepared for the new school year. Open House for Danville students in grades K-12 will be Monday August 11, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm
K-6th grade class assignments will be posted on the entrance doors of the K-6 building. Students can bring school supplies to stock their lockers/cubbies. 7-12 students can pick up their schedules as they enter the building and stock their lockers with supplies as well.
The Transportation Department will be at the K-6 building during Open House, please stop in and see them if you will be a new bus rider this year. You can also pick up applications for free and reduced lunches. The Knox County Health Department will be at the 7-12 building to give immunizations during Open House.
In the meantime, parents and students are encouraged to log in to Final Forms and complete the recently updated 2025/26 school year forms.
