Danville Students and Families 

My Name is Amanda Durbin, and I am the new nurse at Danville Local Schools. I am so excited for the opportunity to work with your student!

I grew up in Danville and graduated from Danville Local Schools in 2005. I obtained my degree in Nursing from North Central State College and went on to get my bachelor’s degree from Ohio University. I have spent the past 11 years working as a Registered Nurse at Knox Community Hospital.  I have had the best experiences in Obstetrics, Med/Surg, and Ambulatory surgery. I have advanced training in Adult and Pediatric Emergency Support.  I have loved every adventure my career has taken me on, but my favorite experiences have always been working with pediatric patients.

My husband Andrew and I reside in Danville with our three children, Adleigh, Judson, and Jacob. My goal at Danville Local Schools is to keep our children healthy, safe, and in school.  I believe that is best when we work together and communicate openly.
