Tonight's (1/16) JH basketball games vs Cardington are cancelled.

Due to the current road conditions and the forecast for more snow this morning, Danville Local Schools will be closed today, Thursday, January 16th.

The Danville FFA chapter has been awarded a $4,995 grant as part of the Grants for Growing program. The nationwide program, sponsored by Tractor Supply Company, provides grant funds to local FFA chapters to support the development or improvement of agricultural education projects that enhance student classroom experiences through chapter engagement activities.
The program provided over $900,000 to FFA chapters in 47 states. Funding is provided through consumer donations made during checkout at a Tractor Supply Company store by purchasing a $1 FFA Paper Emblem. The fundraising period aligns with National FFA Week in February.
The National FFA Organization is a school-based national youth leadership development organization of more than 1,027,200 student members as part of 9,235 local FFA chapters in all 50 states, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Danville Local Schools are on a normal schedule for today. Please dress warm! The career center is on a two hour delay therefore the bus for the career center will leave at 9:15.

The HS boys basketball game vs Mount Gilead has been rescheduled for tomorrow (1/15) at HOME. JV will start at 6pm and Varsity to follow. We will then travel to Mount Gilead on 2/7 for the boys game.


Tonight's HS boys basketball game @ Mount Gilead has been cancelled.

Due to the weather, Robotics and after-school tutoring at the Elementary are canceled.

The Lions Club would like to invite all students and families to attend a motivational speaker at 7:00 pm in the HS Auditorium after the Raccoon Dinner on Monday, February 3, 2025.

The junior high dance scheduled for tonight (1/11) is still on. Dance will be from 7-9 in the elementary cafeteria.

The Mapleton ES/JH Robotics Meet (1/11/25) is cancelled due to weather related travel issues.

We rise by lifting others. This award recognizes an individual who is an inspiration to many, thinking differently, breaking the status quo, and challenging the way people think. This individual shines a light on being open to new things and seeing things from a different perspective. Not only does this individual light you up, but they encourage you to illuminate others.
Kaylee Stimpert has been instrumental in her involvement during her high school career on the Teen Advisory Council (TAC). She has brought numerous opportunities and awareness to our students. Help us get her recognized for all of her hard work and dedication in promoting positivity amongst our students and in our building.
